What is a Dubai Golden Visa?

The Golden Visa is an exclusive long-term residence visa that offers a host of benefits, allowing foreign talents to live, work, or study in the UAE. The Golden Visa grants recipients the opportunity to reside in the UAE for an extended period, typically 5 or 10 years, with the possibility of renewal with the ability to stay outside the UAE for more than the usual period of six months in order to keep their residence visa valid.

Who is eligible to apply for Dubai Golden Visa?


Categories & Requirements:

Investors in public investments
  • An investment fund accredited in the UAE with a deposit of minimum of AED 2 million.
  • Possession of a valid commercial license or industrial license, accompanied by a memorandum of association that declares the investor's capital to be no less than AED 2 million.
  • Provision of a letter from the land department of the respective emirate stating ownership of one or more properties whose value is not less than 2 million dirhams
Skilled Employees
  • A minimum monthly salary of not less than Dh30,000.
  • Valid employment contract in the UAE classified in the first or second occupational level as per the Ministry of Human Resources
  • A copy of bachelor's or Masters Degree certified by Ministry of Education
Outstanding University students and graduates
  • The university must be rated either A or B class by Ministry of Education
  • Students from top universities worldwide with a GPA of 3.8 and above
  • High school students who have obtained an average rate of at least 95 percent in the high school certificate from public or private schools
